PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toru Ohta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kio Lunguo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohta comes to the cage accompanied by Technopolis. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohta lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lunguo circles away quickly and effectively.
Ohta lands a lovely overhand right.
Lunguo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ohta pinned against the cage. Ohta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lunguo misses with a body shot.
Lunguo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ohta sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ohta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lunguo was well out of range. Poor timing from Ohta.
Lunguo takes one on the button.
Lunguo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lunguo looks for a takedown but Ohta sprawls well.
Toru Ohta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kio Lunguo.
Lunguo swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Ohta shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lunguo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ohta tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lunguo's legs.
Ohta content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lunguo is looking for a sweep.
Ohta is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lunguo's shoulder. That is not cool.
Ohta tries to advance to mount but Lunguo denies him.
Ohta is working hard here to advance position.
Lunguo is trying to strike from the bottom but Ohta has passed into full mount.
Ohta trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ohta wants to control the pace but Lunguo is squirming around nicely.

Lunguo is positioning himself well to prevent Ohta advancing to mount.

Lunguo is in trouble now - Ohta has advanced to mount!
Ohta fails to advance to Lunguo's back.

Ohta is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Lunguo is forced to tap! Great finish!
