Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Punk counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Punk thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ground and pound from Punk seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Punk has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Punk but Punk pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Punk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Punk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
