Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike McKinley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhelyazko Velilkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhelyazko Velilkov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velilkov checks a low kick from McKinley.
Velilkov shoots in looking for a takedown. McKinley tries to sprawl out of it but Velilkov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McKinley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McKinley scores with a hook to the body. Velilkov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Velilkov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Velilkov lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Velilkov tries to stand but McKinley is controlling from the bottom.
McKinley is looking to stand up but Velilkov isn't so interested in that idea.

Velilkov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McKinley dives on top into guard.

Velilkov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McKinley defends it easily.
McKinley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Velilkov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McKinley is looking to stand up but Velilkov won't let him.

Velilkov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McKinley sitting in guard, not really doing much.
McKinley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

McKinley is posturing up here but Velilkov has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! McKinley tries to roll out but it's too tight and McKinley has to tap! Slick submission there by Velilkov!
