Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DepaC Pakamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimo Leonardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonardo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Amazing. Kimo Leonardo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pakamara shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Leonardo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leonardo has gone for a leg lock! Pakamara slips out almost immediately though and dives into Leonardo's guard.
Leonardo is looking to stand up but Pakamara isn't so interested in that idea.
Pakamara might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pakamara enables Leonardo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pakamara manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
