Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yonaz Obsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhys Freestone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freestone clinches.
Freestone tries for a takedown. No joy.

Freestone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Obsen is looking to clinch but Freestone is avoiding it.
Freestone thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice body kick there by Freestone.
Freestone misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Freestone.
Freestone comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Obsen throws a lazy body kick
and Freestone counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Obsen is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Obsen is rocked!

Obsen shoots in looking for a takedown. Freestone tries to sprawl out of it but Obsen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Freestone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Obsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freestone throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Obsen's head.

Obsen scores a takedown into full mount!
Obsen seems to have got his legs back now.
Freestone working to try and regain half guard.

Obsen looking for a guillotine from mount but Freestone is having none of it.
Freestone is squirming around, avoiding Obsen's attempts to control the action.

Obsen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Freestone turns into him and now he's in Obsen's guard.
Obsen is trying to keep Freestone in close.
Obsen throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Obsen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Freestone is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Obsen working for a triangle but Freestone defends it easily.
Obsen is breathing heavily.
Obsen trying to control the position.
Freestone has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Obsen is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Freestone scores with a spinning back kick!
Freestone tries to bum rush Obsen with a series of wild strikes but Obsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Obsen shoots in and drives through. Freestone sprawls well.
Rhys Freestone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Obsen throws a leg kick but Freestone sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Obsen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Freestone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Freestone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Obsen.

Freestone looks to land a right hand but Obsen moved out of range.
Obsen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Obsen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Freestone throws a head kick but Obsen moves out of range.
Obsen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Freestone counters with a low kick, right behind Obsen 's knee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freestone takes a swing at Obsen's ribcage but misses.
Obsen moves out of range of the body kick.
Freestone lands a body shot.

and Freestone counters with a hugh head kick that removes Obsen from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
