Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugeniusz Grzyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Armstrong's choice of entrance music: "Bullet Soul" Switchfoot. Eugeniusz Grzyb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Xavier Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Armstrong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Armstrong utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Armstrong tries a knee to the head but Grzyb blocks it.
Armstrong tries to throw a body punch but Grzyb avoids it by throwing Armstrong back against the ropes.
Grzyb trying to control the position but instead, Armstrong has worked for underhooks and has pushed Grzyb into the ropes.
Grzyb blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Grzyb's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Grzyb counters with a body kick that stops Armstrong in his tracks momentarily.

Armstrong manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Armstrong turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Armstrong manages to end up in side control.

Grzyb is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Grzyb is pressing down on Armstrong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Armstrong passes Grzyb's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Grzyb is refusing to be controlled, as Armstrong sits in half guard.
Armstrong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
It looks like Armstrong is going to stand back up.
Grzyb works his way to full guard. Good work.

Armstrong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grzyb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Armstrong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Grzyb napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Armstrong wants to stand but Grzyb has his arm trapped.
Grzyb manages to work his way to half guard, despite Armstrong's best efforts.

Grzyb is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Armstrong pulls his head out easily.

Armstrong is looking for a kimura but Grzyb is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Armstrong to get the leverage.

Grzyb escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Armstrong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Armstrong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Grzyb works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Armstrong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Grzyb is proving hard to escape from.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Armstrong.
Armstrong throws a shot to the body.
Armstrong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A looping hook to the body misses from Armstrong. Grzyb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Some bone on bone action there as Grzyb checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Grzyb throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Armstrong's waist but Armstrong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grzyb off to one side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Xavier Armstrong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Grzyb shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Armstrong sprawls well. Armstrong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grzyb gets slowly back to his feet.

Xavier Armstrong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Armstrong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
