Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zagorno tries to keep at a distance but Jaa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jaa stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Zagorno jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jaa walks away with a smile on his face. Zagorno gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jaa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zagorno throws out the jab.

Jaa rushes Zagorno and presses him up against the cage.
Zagorno fails to pull guard.
Zagorno tries to score a body lock takedown but Jaa shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Tony Jaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Zagorno.
Zagorno tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jaa just stands there and leans against the cage.

It looks like Gabriel Zagorno has been cut.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jaa - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Zagorno is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jaa defends well.

Zagorno pulls Jaa in to control the position.
Zagorno working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jaa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jaa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Zagorno controls Jaa momentarily but Jaa frees himself.
Zagorno is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jaa is aware though and is defending well.
Zagorno is looking for a triangle but Jaa pushes his legs off easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jaa advances to half guard.
Zagorno preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Jaa wants to stand up but Zagorno has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Zagorno moves into full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jaa is sitting in close to Zagorno's body. Zagorno has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jaa is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jaa is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zagorno.
