Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elwood Buckknuckle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Desperado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tito Desperado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tito Desperado!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckknuckle works the jab nicely.

It looks like Tito Desperado has been cut.
Buckknuckle lands a slapping body shot.

Buckknuckle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Buckknuckle showed some decent athleticism there.

Buckknuckle wants to work for an arm triangle but Desperado is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Desperado is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Buckknuckle's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Buckknuckle's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buckknuckle breaks Desperado's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Buckknuckle working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Buckknuckle seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Buckknuckle throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Desperado is trying to get back to full guard.
Buckknuckle is nestled in close to Desperado, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Buckknuckle takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That has opened up Tito Desperado's cut even more.

Buckknuckle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Desperado with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tito Desperado's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tito Desperado's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
