Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Sabre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Carson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Sabre!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabre wants to land a leg kick but Carson is out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carson is defended easily by Sabre.
Sabre looks to clinch
and Carson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Sabre uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Carson has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sabre throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Sabre fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sabre lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Carson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That kick from Sabre tenderised Carson's leg. Carson is trying to keep his angry face on.

Carson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sabre has him pressed against the cage.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Carson explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Sabre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Carson is rocked!
Carson is trying to stand up.
Sabre postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Carson looks a forlorn figure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Matt Sabre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Carson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sabre - the referee stops the clock and Carson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sabre. Carson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sabre is pushing Carson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Matt Sabre comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sabre has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
