Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jojo Cunnings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jojo Cunnings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Stewart!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart tries to clinch there but Cunnings circles away.

Stewart gets the takedown into side control.
Cunnings tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Stewart is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cunnings knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stewart looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Cunnings is avoiding damage well.
Stewart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Cunnings is letting Stewart control him for a moment.
Cunnings gets back to half guard.

Stewart is trying to control the action in half guard but Cunnings is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Cunnings throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stewart's waist but Stewart gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cunnings off to one side.

and Stewart counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cunnings won't be happy with that.

Stewart goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Cunnings rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Stewart's guard! Nice work there by Cunnings!

Stewart looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stewart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cunnings tries to close the distance and clinch but Stewart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stewart clinches up with Cunnings and pushes him back against the cage.

Cunnings looking to throw knees to the head but Stewart is blocking nicely.

Stewart manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Cunnings dives in and grabs Stewart's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stewart pushes down on Cunnings's head and hops out.
Cunnings tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stewart swivels and escapes.

Stewart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Cunnings is trying to escape back to his feet but Stewart uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Stewart tries to move to full mount but Cunnings actually manages to regain half guard.
Stewart seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Cunnings is trying to stand back up but Stewart is controlling him

Stewart is looking to stall here but Cunnings recovers full guard.

Stewart tries to lock up and control but Cunnings gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cunnings goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Stewart turns into him and now he's in Cunnings's guard.

Paul Stewart comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stewart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
