Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Derrick Elliott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Barnes!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliott cracks Barnes with a good jab.
Barnes swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Elliott counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Brock Barnes has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Elliott misses the target.
Some bone on bone action there as Elliott checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Elliott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barnes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Barnes scores with a decent looking hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barnes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Barnes slips a jab and a cross from Elliott.

Barnes closes the distance and pushes Elliott back into the cage.
Barnes tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Elliott blocks a body shot from Barnes.
Barnes misses with a body punch.

Barnes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barnes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Barnes thuds his right hand into Elliott's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A combination from Elliott does no damage.
Elliott scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barnes doesn't seem bothered though.
Elliott lands a nice shot that snaps Barnes's head back.
Elliott sizes up Barnes with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Elliott throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Barnes darts in and clinches Elliott up against the cage.
Elliott on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Barnes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Elliott is defending well for now.
Barnes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Elliotts head.
A right hook to the body lands for Barnes.

Barnes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Elliott darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Barnes's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Elliott before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
