Rekishi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cult of Personality - Living Colour. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soared De Morais looks to score with a jab to the body but Rekishi is just out of range.
Rekishi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rekishi wants it to stay on the feet.
Rekishi misses with a body kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rekishi!

Soared De Morais instigates a clinch.
Rekishi misses with a punch to the body.
Rekishi is looking to break free of the clinch but Soared De Morais has double underhooks.

Rekishi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Soared De Morais looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rekishi is fending him off so far but Soared De Morais persists. Nope, Rekishi circles away and we're back to standing.
Rekishi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rekishi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Soared De Morais has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rekishi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Soared De Morais needs to keep his hands up - Rekishi had a free shot at his head there.
Rekishi cracks Soared De Morais's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Soared De Morais slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Rekishi can do further damage! This one is done, son!
