Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Igor Helsing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson shoots for a takedown but Helsing saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Svensson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Helsing swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Karl Svensson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Helsing decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Helsing is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Svensson defends it well.
