The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krawczyk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Krawczyk is looking to break free of the clinch but Vendo has double underhooks.
Krawczyk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Krawczyk tries to clinch but Vendo is having none of it.
Krawczyk fails in his attempt to clinch.
Krawczyk looks to clinch
and Vendo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Krawczyk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Vendo advances position into side control!
Vendo is trying to get an arm triangle but Krawczyk is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krawczyk is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vendo has hold of Krawczyk's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Krawczyk tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vendo cranks the arm and Krawczyk screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Krawczyk, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
