Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Glitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arnold Glitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Foster!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Glitch moves into range and clinches up with Foster.
Foster blocks a body shot from Glitch.
Foster content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Glitch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Foster walks away with a smile on his face. Glitch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Glitch circles away from the clinch attempt.

Foster tries to keep at a distance but Glitch has taken the fight into the clinch.
Foster tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Glitch's elbow.
Foster tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Glitch has Foster pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Foster manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Glitch looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Glitch tries to pull guard but Foster won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arnold Glitch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Glitch prevents Foster from breaking the clinch.
Foster tries to break free but Glitch pushes him back against the cage.

Foster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Foster drives through and clinches with Glitch against the cage.
Glitch tries to pull guard but Foster holds him up against the cage and eventually Glitch drops back down to his feet.

Foster is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Foster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Foster darts in and clinches Glitch up against the cage.
Foster tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Glitch's elbow.
Glitch tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Foster's elbow.
Glitch fails to pull guard.
Foster digs a right hand into Glitch's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Glitch's gas tank.
Glitch trying to stall but Foster improves his position.

Foster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Glitch lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Glitch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Glitch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Glitch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Foster lands a head kick. Glitch smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Arnold Glitch has been cut.
Glitch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Glitch forces Foster back against the cage and clinches.
Foster has Glitch pressed against the cage, preventing Glitch from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Glitch jumps guard but Foster stands there with Glitch around his waist. Glitch gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Foster landing knees to the head.
Foster landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Foster breaks the clinch.
Glitch shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Foster defends it nicely.
Glitch swings widly with a right hand
and Foster counters with a good low kick that Glitch was not able to check.
Glitch is breathing heavily.

Foster gets a clinch.
Foster lands a good knee to the midsection. Glitch won't want to take too many of those.

Foster breaks the clinch.

Foster has closed the distance and engaged Glitch in a clinch.

Foster breaks the clinch.
Foster lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Foster.

Foster closes the distance and pushes Glitch back into the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Foster.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Foster is leaning against Glitch and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Foster stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Foster has closed the distance and engaged Glitch in a clinch.
Foster presses Glitch against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Glitch has Foster pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Foster manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Glitch closes the distance and clinches up with Foster, looking for a takedown. Glitch pushes Foster against the cage but Foster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Foster tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Glitch moves into the clinch.
Foster is pushing Glitch up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Glitch is trying to stall.
Foster scores with a shot to the side of Glitch's head.

Glitch gets control of Foster's arms and successfully pulls guard. Glitch will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Foster with a flurry of punches that miss.

Glitch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Foster is aware though and is defending well.
Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but Glitch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Foster has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Glitch wants to control but Foster passes into side.
Glitch tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Foster stands up and beckons Glitch to his feet.
Glitch misses with a wild body shot.
Glitch throws a lazy head kick

and Foster counters by moving into the clinch.

Foster unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nice body punch from Foster - that landed with a thud.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Foster.
Tony Foster seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Foster continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are getting on Foster's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Glitch tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Foster just stands there and leans against the cage.

Foster throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Glitch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Foster counters with a low kick, right behind Glitch 's knee.
Foster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Glitch manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Glitch misses with a wild body shot.
Foster misses with a wild combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Foster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Glitch gets tackled into the cage by Foster. Foster maintains the clinch.

Glitch tries for a takedown. No joy.
With the fighters up against the cage, Glitch throws an elbow but misses.
Glitch is trying to break free.
Foster slowing the pace effectively.
Foster scores with a shot to the side of Glitch's head.
Foster displaying some good clinch control by pressing Glitch up against the cage.

Foster turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster trying to control the action but Glitch is working from the bottom.
Foster is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Glitch will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tony Foster hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Glitch keeps the fight on the outside.

and Foster counters with a three punch combo that has Glitch backing up. Glitch nods at Foster to acknowledge the strikes.


Glitch is rocked!
Glitch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Foster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tony Foster is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Oh Glitch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Glitch seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Foster drops Glitch onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Glitch is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Arnold Glitch's cut is getting worse.
Glitch is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Foster gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is keeping an eye on Foster - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Foster is working Glitch over against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Glitch goes for a takedown attempt but Foster pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A jab from Foster finds it's way through Glitch's defenses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tony Foster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Foster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
