Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maito Poika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roman Burza was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poika misses with a wild body shot.
Burza avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Some bone on bone action there as Burza checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Burza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Poika.

Burza fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Poika is out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burza sizes up Poika with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A lazy left from Burza finds it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burza. Poika does a little dance to reset his feet.
Poika lands a glancing blow to the side of Burza's head.
Poika throws a shot from downtown. Burza moves away and avoids it.
Maito Poika is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burza jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Burza looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Poika jabs at Burza's body.
Poika throws a combination that misses
and Burza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Burza connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Poika is looking to wear down Burza with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Poika cracks Burza with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Burza is rocked!
Poika dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Burza is still on wobbly legs! Can Poika finish him?
Burza looks gassed!

Burza tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Poika, right into the meat.
Poika scores with a kick to the body.
Burza drops his hands for a split second and Poika immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Burza face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Poika follows up with a right hand that knocks Burza into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Maito Poika!
