Donalds kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is god's gonna cut you down. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Donalds sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Eddie Alvarez has been cut.
Alvarez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mack Donalds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Alvarez.
Donalds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alvarez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Donalds pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Alvarez back to the cage. Donalds follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Donalds lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alvarez at a distance.

Donalds breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Donalds lands a jab to the head.
Donalds walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Alvarez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Donalds swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Alvarez's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
