Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ray Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Conroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hardy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I shot the Sheriff. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conroy shoots in and drives through. Hardy sprawls well.
Conroy takes one to the chin there.
Conroy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hardy avoids it really well and circles away.
Hardy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hardy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hardy has closed the distance and engaged Conroy in a clinch.
Hardy stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Conroy has Hardy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hardy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Conroy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hardy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Hardy will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Conroy up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Hardy dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hardy sizes up Conroy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Conroy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Conroy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Conroy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Hardy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Conroy goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hardy turns into him and now he's in Conroy's guard.
Conroy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hardy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Conroy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Conroy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hardy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Conroy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Conroy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hardy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Conroy keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully.
Hardy is posturing up here but Conroy has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hardy tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hardy has to tap! Slick submission there by Conroy!
