The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cavalera circles away quickly and effectively.
Tatum thows a body shot but no joy.
Cavalera keeps the fight on the outside.

Tatum tries a head kick but it misses.
Tatum paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tatum has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cavalera finds it's way round the side to connect with Tatum's head.

Tatum is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tatum is nestled in close to Cavalera, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Tatum has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cavalera is working away from the top position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
