The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falco misses with a hook to the body
and Hosseini cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Good work by Hosseini as he checks the leg kick.
Falco throws a lazy right hand but Hosseini sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Falco throws a jab when Hosseini was well out of range.
Hosseini scores with a jab to the body.
Hosseini cracks a nice hook into Falco's ribs.
Falco shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Falco throws an off balance right hand
and Hosseini counters with a left to the body.
Falco is breathing heavily.
Hosseini works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Falco swings widly with a right hand
and Hosseini connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dino Falco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falco takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hosseini throws a leg kick but Falco moved away.

Falco throws a lazy uppercut
and Hosseini counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Falco thinking.
Falco takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hosseini scores with a hook to the body. Falco takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hosseini scores with a shot to the body.

Hosseini lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Falco at a distance.
Jab, jab by Hosseini - just one landing.
Hosseini comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hosseini with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hosseini lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Falco has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Falco and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A punch lands to the side of Falco 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Falco pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hosseini is out of range and Falco settles back down.
Hosseini works Falco's body with a nice hook.
Hosseini lands a glancing blow to the side of Falco's head.
Hosseini cracks Falco with an uppercut from hell and Falco crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Hosseini's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hosseini works over Falco with some ground and pound from guard.
Falco is rocked!
Hosseini controlling from the top position.
Hosseini tries to stand but Falco is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hosseini stands up from Falco's guard - Hosseini perhaps looking for a knockout.
Nice takedown defense from Hosseini. No joy for Falco on that attempt.
Abdullah Hosseini is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hosseini tests Falco's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hosseini throws a series of punches but Falco avoids them all with ease.
Hosseini displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Falco throws out the jab.
Hosseini looks to score with a jab to the body but Falco is just out of range.
Falco throws an overhand right that lands on Hosseini's shoulder, as Hosseini tries to avoid the shot.
Falco motions for Hosseini to come forward. Falco throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hosseini scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hosseini is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Falco had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Hosseini swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Falco takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hosseini slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Falco takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hosseini thuds his right hand into Falco's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hosseini connects with a nice looking jab.
Oh Falco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hosseini darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Falco's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Hosseini before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
