Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Momoko Yamaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane misses with a left hand
and Kane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Ron Kane has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yamaguchi.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kane throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Yamaguchi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kane thinking.
Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kane misses with a low kick.
Kane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kane feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yamaguchi's calf.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kane throws a wild body kick that Yamaguchi sees coming a mile off.
Kane walks into a jab.

Yamaguchi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Yamaguchi lands an elbow inside.
Kane struggles to land a body shot inside as Yamaguchi controls his hands.

Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kane throws a body kick the misses
and Yamaguchi counters with a stiff right hand.

Kane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kane. That's going to slow Yamaguchi down.
Kane tries a head kick but it misses.

Kane throws a head kick but Yamaguchi moves out of range.
Kane looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamaguchi is just out of range.

Yamaguchi throws out a leg kick but Kane moves out of range and Yamaguchi only half commits.
Kane moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kane tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yamaguchi blocks a head kick by Kane.
Kane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kane looks gassed!
Yamaguchi throws a good cross that connects.

That has opened up Ron Kane's cut even more.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters circling a little - Yamaguchi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Yamaguchi drops Kane with a big left hand and mounts him. Kane is in big trouble!

Kane is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yamaguchi connects with a bit shot that sees Kane covering up! More strikes from Yamaguchi and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Yamaguchi is our winner by TKO!
