Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Everaldo Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Everaldo Manhoef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry White!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Manhoef to the mat! Manhoef manages to get full guard.
White trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
White trying to control the position from guard on top but Manhoef is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

White avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
White tries to free his leg and advance position but Manhoef is retaining full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Manhoef had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. White is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Manhoef Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take White's back instead.
White manages to reverse the position and now he's in Manhoef's guard. Nice work there by White.
White wants to stand but Manhoef has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Manhoef is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Manhoef isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. White stacks Manhoef on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by White!

White is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Manhoef gets his way!

That was a close round but I would say that Everaldo Manhoef will probably get the nod.

Manhoef tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Manhoef has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

White wants to take a breather but Manhoef is having none of it.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manhoef tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manhoef to the ground. Manhoef escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Manhoef closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Manhoef pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Oooh a big shot gets through from White. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Everaldo Manhoef overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Everaldo Manhoef will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Horrible takedown by White or perhaps it was just good defense by Manhoef which made him look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Manhoef has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. White is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Manhoef.

Barry White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Manhoef has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
