Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roni Kultainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kultainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kultainen throws a series of strikes that have Bo backpedaling.

It looks like Jim Bo has been cut.
Kultainen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kultainen doesn't manage to clinch there - Bo circles away.
Kultainen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bo.
Bo dodges the punch combination from Kultainen.
Kultainen tries to clinch up.

Bo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kultainen is looking for a sweep. Bo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bo passes into side control, despite Kultainen's attempt to control the position.
Kultainen tries to escape but Bo is in control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kultainen is trying to improve his position.
Bo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Bo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bo works to advance to full mount. Kultainen defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Bo is working for a guillotine from mount but Kultainen frees his head quite easily.
Bo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kultainen is looking to get to half guard.
Bo is breathing heavily.
Kultainen has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Bo doesn't have the hooks in and Kultainen manages to turn into his guard.
Bo is trying to control the position but Kultainen postures up.

Kultainen stands up from Bo's guard - Kultainen perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kultainen lands with a nice combination. Bo backs away looking to recover.

Bo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Bo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bo slips nicely into half guard.
Bo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bo uses his free foot to push down on Kultainen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kultainen.

I really don't envy Kultainen right now.
Bo misses with a punch to the head.
Kultainen is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Bo working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Kultainen is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Bo has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Kultainen taps out!
