Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merlin Noneson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Evraerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Noneson misses the target.
Evraerts tries to close the distance and clinch but Noneson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Noneson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Noneson looks to land a combination but Evraerts avoids it well.
Noneson blocks a head kick by Evraerts.
Noneson swings for the body but Evraerts moves out of range.
Evraerts tries to clinch but Noneson moves out of range.
Noneson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Evraerts stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Noneson has managed to clinch.
Evraerts working hard to break the clinch.
Noneson stalling in the clinch.
Noneson lands a right hand.
Evraerts swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Evraerts tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Noneson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A combination from Noneson does no damage.
Noneson staying out of range there.
Noneson misses with a wild body shot.
Noneson throws a lazy right hand but Evraerts sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Noneson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Evraerts stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Noneson throws a jab but it's blocked by Evraerts.
Evraerts wants to clinch.

Noneson gets a clinch.
Evraerts has a couple of punches blocked by Noneson.
A nice left hand lands by Noneson.
Noneson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Evraerts gets through Noneson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Noneson goes for a takedown attempt but Evraerts pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Evraerts closes the distance looking to clinch

and Noneson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Noneson.
Evraerts is trying to force a seperation but Noneson has the dominant position.
Evraerts is looking to break free of the clinch but Noneson has double underhooks.
Evraerts wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Noneson has him pressed against the cage.

Noneson manages to break the clinch.
Evraerts throws a good cross that connects.
Noneson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Evraerts swings for the body but Noneson moves out of range.
Noneson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Noneson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Evraerts.

The fight stays on the outside here - Evraerts looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Evraerts lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Evraerts lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Noneson walks into a straight right hand from Evraerts.
Noneson swings widly with a right hand

and Evraerts counters with a flying knee that drops Noneson!

Noneson is rocked!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Evraerts trying to control but Noneson is working from the bottom.
Oh Noneson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Evraerts tries to stand but Noneson is controlling from the bottom.

Noneson pushes Evraerts off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Evraerts wants to clinch.
Evraerts drops Noneson with a big left hand! Noneson is injured, injured bad! Evraerts jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
