Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yakin Sanjimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Ducati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Francois Ducati was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ducati throws a jab when Sanjimoto was well out of range.
Sanjimoto misses with the combination.
Ducati just misses with a punch to the body.
Sanjimoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ducati moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ducati fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The fighters circling - Sanjimoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ducati dodges the punch combination from Sanjimoto.

Ducati is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sanjimoto is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ducati.

Sanjimoto throws a lazy uppercut

and Ducati counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sanjimoto won't be happy with that.
Sanjimoto tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ducati wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ducati in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Sanjimoto tries to improve position but can't.

Ducati is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sanjimoto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ducati gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sanjimoto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ducati lets go of the hold and Sanjimoto can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Francois Ducati!
