Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Ladeia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dickinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dickinson has chosen Harvester of Sorrow as his entrance music. Dave Dickinson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Ladeia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dave Dickinson!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladeia manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dickinson on his heels. He'll look to pass Dickinson's guard now, I'm sure.
Ladeia won't allow Dickinson to sweep him here.
Ladeia passes Dickinson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dickinson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dickinson is working an open guard so Ladeia takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dickinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ladeia pinned against the cage. Ladeia gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ladeia drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ladeia is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dickinson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dickinson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ladeia has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Dickinson is looking for a sweep.
Ladeia decides to stand back up. Ladeia steps back and let's Dickinson get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dickinson tries to sprawl but Ladeia drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Ladeia looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Ladeia escapes and gets back to his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Dickinson enables Ladeia to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dickinson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dickinson looking for a guillotine here but Ladeia defends easily.
Ladeia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dickinson is keeping the position for now.
Dickinson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ladeia is defending well. Dickinson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ladeia has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dickinson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
