The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiei moves to clinch but Machete breaks away
and Machete counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hiei is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Machete is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hiei closes the distance looking to clinch
and Machete decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hiei's guard.
Machete passes Hiei's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hiei tries to get to full guard but Machete has control of the leg.
Machete passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hiei!
Machete is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Machete!
