Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Sutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paolo Herdy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paolo Herdy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Sutton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paolo Herdy!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herdy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sutton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Herdy on his heels. He'll look to pass Herdy's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Sutton gets to his feet - Herdy follows without any prompting.
Herdy stuffs the takedown.
Sutton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Herdy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sutton somewhat.
Herdy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sutton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Herdy lands a nice looking body kick.
Sutton is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Herdy clinches with his opponent.
Sutton is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Herdy pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Sutton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Herdy throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sutton blocks it with crossed arms.
Herdy using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Herdy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Herdy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sutton's calf.
Herdy moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Herdy lands but Sutton takes it in his stride.

It looks like Jeremy Sutton has been cut.
Herdy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Herdy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Herdy feints and then cracks Sutton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sutton down.
No joy there for Herdy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice shot lands for Herdy.
Herdy misses with a series of wild punches.
Left hook, right uppercut from Herdy.
Sutton finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Herdy's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Sutton falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paolo Herdy!
