Raithert looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Babineaux wants to get back to striking at distance but Raithert won't allow it.
Babineaux gets underhooks to prevent Raithert's takedown attempt.
Raithert is pushing Babineaux up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Babineaux counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Babineaux shoots in for a takedown but Raithert shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Warren Raithert will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Raithert swings wildly with an uppercut but Babineaux uses good head movement to avoid it.
Raithert is trying to drag Babineaux to the mat but Babineaux just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Babineaux is trying to force a seperation but Raithert has the dominant position.
Raithert has Babineaux pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Babineaux manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
