And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heath shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kviser is trying to defend but Heath finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kviser manages to get to full guard.
Kviser seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Kviser manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heath manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Heath pulls Kviser in close to his closed guard and prevents Kviser from doing any damage or advancing position.
Kviser advances position into side control!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Heath can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kviser has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Heath!

Kviser tries to control but Heath wriggling away.
Heath really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kviser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kviser is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Heath is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Kviser moves to take his opponent's back.

Kviser tightening his grip on Heath, looking for the choke.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heath is keeping busy.

Heath won't enjoy being in this position. Kviser looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Heath is tapping - it's over boys! Kviser picks up the submission victory!
