Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John De Vito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hermio Piekny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Piekny drops to a knee looking for a takedown but De Vito gets the underhooks and prevents it.

De Vito shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Piekny pinned against the cage. Piekny gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Piekny is defended easily by De Vito.
Piekny shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. De Vito eats them both and turns towards Piekny to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Piekny lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
De Vito fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fighters circling - Piekny throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
De Vito shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Piekny but Piekny pushes him off and we're back to square one.
