Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Hosmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnett has chosen Move as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buddy Barnett acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett fails with a takedown attempt.
Hosmer tries to clinch up but Barnett circles away and keeps his distance.
Hosmer moves into range and clinches up with Barnett.
Hosmer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hosmer pushes Barnett up against the cage in a clinch.
Barnett is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hosmer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Barnett drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hosmer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Eric Hosmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buddy Barnett.
Hosmer wants to clinch.
Barnett shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hosmer defends it nicely.
Hosmer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Barnett shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Barnett was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hosmer tries to hold on but Barnett postures up.

Barnett has hold of Hosmer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hosmer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hosmer is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Barnett locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Hosmer is forced to tap!
