Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Charles Skarbowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dante Carver told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nice sprawl there from Skarbowsky as Carver shoots in.
Carver throws out a loose jab but Skarbowsky uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carver misses with a combination
and Skarbowsky counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Carver looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Skarbowsky!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Skarbowsky's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Carver lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Skarbowsky is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Carver lands a nice shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carver can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Skarbowsky is looking to escape.
Skarbowsky tries to buck Carver off but he can't manage it.
Carver lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Skarbowsky on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Skarbowsky tries to get out of the position.

Carver is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Carver extends the arm and Skarbowsky is forced to tap!
