Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber comes to the cage accompanied by California Love. Timmons has chosen My 64' as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmons throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Faber counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Faber tries to advance to mount but Timmons denies him.

Faber tries for a kimura but Timmons is defending well.
Timmons tries to escape but Faber is in control.

Faber has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Faber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Timmons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Faber gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Timmons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Faber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Timmons feints a jab promting Faber to slip. Timmons then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Faber slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Timmons stalks Faber and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Faber's face. Faber staggers backwards, shaken.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Faber shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Timmons defends it nicely.

Faber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Timmons's waist but Timmons gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Faber off to one side.
