Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Bubba Gump has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Gump looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Max!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gump looking to control and managing it successfully.
Gump working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Max turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gump off and cradles Max's limp body as Gump celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Bubba Gump!
