Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Quijivix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Kronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quijivix kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In The Morning. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Kronic!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Quijivix misses.
Kronic just misses with a punch to the body.
Miguel Quijivix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quijivix missing with a left hand there. Kronic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Quijivix throws a jab but it's blocked by Kronic.
Quijivix lands with a cross.

Quijivix clinches with his opponent.
Quijivix lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short right from Quijivix on the inside.
Quijivix stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kronic goes for a takedown in the clinch but Quijivix prevents it.
Quijivix works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Quijivix throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kronics head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Quijivix.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quijivix tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Quijivix fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Quijivix tries to throw a body punch but Kronic avoids it by throwing Quijivix back against the cage.

Kronic misses with the head strike.
Kronic goes for a takedown attempt but Quijivix pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice uppercut there from Quijivix.
Kronic swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Quijivix thows a body shot but no joy.
Quijivix lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.


It looks like Jack Kronic has been cut.
Quijivix lands a nice shot that snaps Kronic's head back.
Kronic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Quijivix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kronic was well out of range. Poor timing from Quijivix.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quijivix. Kronic does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kronic looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Quijivix wants to get back to full guard.
Kronic works his way into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kronic thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Quijivix manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kronic's best efforts.

Quijivix looking for submissions off his back.
Quijivix moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Kronic sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Kronic trying to control the position from guard on top but Quijivix is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Quijivix is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Quijivix had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kronic defends it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kronic wants to control from the top but Quijivix keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Quijivix controls Kronic momentarily but Kronic frees himself.

Quijivix throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kronic uses it to pass to side control.
Kronic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quijivix keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kronic is trying to get an arm triangle but Quijivix is defending well.
Quijivix wants to control but Kronic postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kronic sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Quijivix is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Kronic swings around for an armbar but Quijivix sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kronic's guard.

Quijivix drops back looking for a leg! Kronic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kronic manages to kick Quijivix off! Quijivix jumps back into Kronic's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miguel Quijivix dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jack Kronic's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kronic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Quijivix scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kronic doesn't seem bothered though.

Kronic closes the distance and pushes Quijivix back into the cage.
Quijivix lands with a short shot to the head.
Quijivix lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kronic backwards.
Quijivix working aggressively here.
Kronic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Quijivix is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Quijivix misses with a hook from the clinch.
Quijivix lands a body shot.
Kronic goes for a takedown attempt but Quijivix pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kronic is breathing heavily.
Quijivix fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jack Kronic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kronic misses with a wild body shot.
Quijivix avoids a kick to the body.
Quijivix punishes Kronic's body with a nice straight punch.
Quijivix avoids a punch combination nicely.
Quijivix lands a glancing blow to the side of Kronic's head.
Kronic slips under a jab.
Kronic takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.


Kronic is rocked!
Miguel Quijivix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Quijivix pounces like a tiger and cracks Kronic with a vicious hook! Kronic is down but not out! Quijivix follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
