The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ritter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around wa Za Banga's waist but wa Za Banga gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ritter off to one side.
Ritter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ritter rushes wa Za Banga and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ritter blocks an elbow strike from wa Za Banga.
Ritter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
