Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Halloween Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Robinson at a distance.
Robinson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Myers scores with a hook to the body. Robinson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Robinson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Myers's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Robinson is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Myers reverses the position - he's now on top in Robinson's guard.
Robinson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Myers dives into side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Randy Robinson.
Myers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Myers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Robinson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Myers tries to avoid it but Robinson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Myers to the ground. Myers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Robinson shoots in and bounces Myers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Myers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Michael Myers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robinson throws a hook to the side of Myers's head but Myers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Myers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Robinson. That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Myers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Robinson manages to avoid it.
Myers throws a push kick but Robinson slaps the foot to one side.

Robinson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Myers on his heels. He'll look to pass Myers's guard now, I'm sure.
Robinson throws a strike but Myers rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
