Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Max tries for a takedown but Laudrup circles away easily
and Laudrup counters with a straight right hand.
Max tries to move into range but Laudrup moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Scott Max seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Max misses with a double jab
and Laudrup counters with a stiff right hand.
Max cracks the inside of Laudrup's front leg.
Max tries to land a leg kick but Laudrup saw it coming and moves away.
Laudrup loads up on a big right hand but Max slips the punch.

Max is looking to control Laudrup's arms but Laudrup gets an underhook and turns him. Now Max has his back to the cage.

Laudrup tries a body shot but Max blocks it.
Max can't find room to land a body shot as Laudrup controls the action.

Laudrup is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Max is keeping busy.

Laudrup has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Max is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Laudrup drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Max gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That was a close round but I would say that Hans Laudrup will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Max takes one to the side of the head.
Max fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Max swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Laudrup counters with a stiff right hand.
Max lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Max throws a series of punches but Laudrup moves out of range.
Laudrup throws a chopping leg kick but Max manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Max shoots in looking for a takedown but Laudrup manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Max's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A slow jab from Max misses its intended target.
A head kick misses from Laudrup.
Max lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Laudrup fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Max.

Max slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Laudrup counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jab, jab by Max - just one landing.
Laudrup circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Max to the canvas! Max doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Laudrup keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
