The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Munoz.


It looks like Tony Falks has been cut.
Munoz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Munoz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Falks on the side of the head.

Munoz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Munoz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Munoz fails to land with a series of punches.
Munoz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Falks avoids the head kick by Munoz.
Falks looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Munoz is fending him off so far but Falks persists. Nope, Munoz circles away and we're back to standing.

Falks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Munoz, pushing him back against the cage.

Falks avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Falks is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Munoz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Falks is trying to control the position but Munoz postures up.

Falks is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Munoz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Munoz works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Falks is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Munoz has his hands clasped together but Falks extends an breaks Munoz's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Falks.
