Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Snatches O Coolahand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiapo Okina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Okina clinches.
Okina is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Okina wants a takedown.
Okina drops down looking for an ankle pick but O Coolahand pulls his leg out and moves away.
Snatches O Coolahand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiapo Okina.
Okina throws a shot from downtown. O Coolahand moves away and avoids it.
Okina takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Okina lands a glancing blow to the side of O Coolahand's head.

O Coolahand bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

O Coolahand gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Okina throws a strike but O Coolahand rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
O Coolahand has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Okina escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. O Coolahand gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Okina keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
O Coolahand throws a hook to the side of Okina's head but Okina sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Okina might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Okina moves into the clinch.

Okina has hold of one of O Coolahand's legs. O Coolahand is fighting the takedown attempt but Okina gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Okina drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Okina seems to have locked his on tight now - O Coolahand screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Okina, as he picks up the win!
