Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wilfredo Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Eight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eight keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Eight looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hunter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Eight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Eight thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hunter forces his way into half guard.
Hunter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Hunter works his way into side control.
Hunter cracks Eight with a big right hand but Eight just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Eight is trying to escape the position but Hunter is controlling the position.
Hunter is working Eight over with some ground and pound from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Eight has eaten all the pies!
Hunter in side control lands a decent elbow.

Hunter scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Eight to see if he's OK.

Hunter scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Eight is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hunter can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
