The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katchenko throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Paco counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Paco.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Paco forces his way into half guard.

Paco wants to work for an arm triangle but Katchenko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Paco drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Katchenko dives on top into guard.
Paco tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andrei Katchenko has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Paco shoots for a double leg takedown but Katchenko sprawls well. He's pushed Paco's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Paco walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Katchenko cracks a nice hook into Paco's ribs.
Katchenko scores with a sloppy right hand. Paco should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paco shoots in looking for a takedown but Katchenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Paco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Paco is trying hard to land a takedown here. Katchenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Andrei Katchenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Paco.

Paco takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Paco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Katchenko swivels and escapes.
Katchenko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Paco's sensitive parts.

Paco tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Katchenko circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Paco to the canvas! Paco doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Katchenko keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
