Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walter Never Faulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Quik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Never Faulter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fire it up by Modest Mouse. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quik walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Quik scores with a one two! Never Faulter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Never Faulter takes a kick to the side of the head.
Never Faulter misses with a body punch
and Quik counters with a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Never Faulter dives in and grabs Quik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quik pushes down on Never Faulter's head and hops out.
Never Faulter scores with a nice right hand.
Never Faulter lands a jab to Quik's midsection.
Quik doesn't manage to clinch there - Never Faulter circles away.
Quik tries to close the distance and clinch up but Never Faulter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Quik's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Never Faulter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Quik scrambles back to his feet.

Quik throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Never Faulter dodges an elbow strike from Quik.
Never Faulter takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Walter Never Faulter has been cut.
Never Faulter slowing the pace effectively.

Never Faulter misses with some punches.
Never Faulter blocks an elbow strike.
Quik throws a punch but it's blocked by Never Faulter.
Never Faulter has Quik pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Quik manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Quik throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Never Faulter blocks it with crossed arms.
Quik drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Never Faulter gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Never Faulter blocks an elbow strike from Quik.
Quik just leaning against Never Faulter, taking a breather.
Quik throws an elbow but it misses.
Quik misses with a knee strike.

Never Faulter has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Quik is trying to keep an underhook but Never Faulter manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Quik manages to get to full guard.
Never Faulter throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Never Faulter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Quik preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Never Faulter wants to pass the guard but Quik is keeping the position.

Never Faulter is looking to work some ground and pound but Quik has wrist control.

Quik manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Never Faulter manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Never Faulter, under a barage of strikes from Quik.
Ground and pound from Quik.
Quik wants to lay and pray for a moment but Never Faulter keeps working.
Quik is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Quik thows an elbow strike that misses. Never Faulter gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Quik doesn't seem too bothered but Never Faulter quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Quik is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Quik really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
