Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tomek Gutzeit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gutzeit comes into the arena with Sobota- Do gory leb blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas tries to clinch up.
Thomas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gutzeit circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thomas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A lazy left from Thomas finds it's target.
Gutzeit swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas.
Thomas swinging wildly here.
Gutzeit slips under a jab.
Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thomas connects with a right hand. Gutzeit shakes it off.
Thomas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Gutzeit counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gutzeit drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thomas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gutzeit has Thomas in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gutzeit is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Thomas frees his head nicely. Oh but Gutzeit has switched to an armbar! Thomas is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
