These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiihonen ducks under a wild hook from Galdikas.
Galdikas looks to score with a jab to the body but Tiihonen is just out of range.
Galdikas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tiihonen manages to avoid it.
Jasser Tiihonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Galdikas takes a swing at Tiihonen's ribcage but misses.

so Galdikas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Tiihonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Galdikas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tiihonen looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Galdikas is defending well. Tiihonen quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Galdikas has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tiihonen celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
