Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Stroker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Stroker has chosen TBR - Bigger Than Kiss as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Stroker!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a push kick but Stroker slaps the foot to one side.
Stroker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Barnes.
Barnes looks for the body kick but Stroker saw that one coming.
Barnes connects with a jab.
Barnes takes one to the side of the head.
Stroker ducks under a wild hook from Barnes.
Barnes misses with a low kick.
Stroker lands with a shot to the body.
Barnes misses with a straight right.
Stroker looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Barnes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stroker finds it's way round the side to connect with Barnes's head.
Stroker takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Barnes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

A jab from Stroker finds it's way through Barnes's defenses.
Stroker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Barnes throws a leg kick but Stroker checks it.
A telegraphed right hand from Barnes misses the target.
Some bone on bone action there as Stroker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Stroker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barnes.
Stroker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barnes throws out the jab.
Stroker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

enabling Barnes to counter with a crisp jab.
Barnes throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stroker throws a head kick that Barnes semi-blocks.
Barnes on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stroker. Stroker obviously looking to wear him down.
Frankie Barnes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stroker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Stroker tries to land a front kick but Barnes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stroker scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Barnes misses with an uppercut.
Harry Stroker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stroker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barnes.
Barnes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stroker.
Barnes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stroker has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Barnes throws a head kick but Stroker moves out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barnes crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stroker - the referee stops the clock and Barnes gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stroker. Barnes manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stroker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Barnes enables Stroker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barnes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barnes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stroker forces his way into half guard.
Barnes tries to roll over but Stroker keeps him under control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Barnes is staying active underneath Stroker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Barnes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Stroker looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Barnes is trying to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barnes wants to sweep but Stroker has passed to side control!

Barnes sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Barnes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A punch lands to the side of Stroker 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Stroker throws a head kick but Barnes moves out of range.
Stroker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barnes swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Barnes throws a nice looking combination but Stroker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Stroker throws a wild body kick that Barnes sees coming a mile off.
Barnes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stroker moves in looking to clinch but Barnes pushes him off.
Barnes moves out of range as Stroker throws a body kick.
Stroker misses with a hook.
Barnes is looking to chop away at Stroker's legs.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Stroker connects with the punch.

Stroker darts in and clinches Barnes up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
