The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Navozov.
Dyuzev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Navozov tries a head kick but it misses.
Navozov loads up on a big right hand but Dyuzev slips the punch.
Mirzai Navozov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dyuzev takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Dyuzev tries to land a front kick but Navozov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Dyuzev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Navozov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

No joy there for Dyuzev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dyuzev wants the takedown. Navozov is fighting it off but Dyuzev persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Navozov's guard against the cage.

Dyuzev looks up at the clock and then as Navozov takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dyuzev smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Navozov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dyuzev on the ground.
Navozov tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Dyuzev is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Navozov is surviving well by controlling Dyuzev's body position as best he can.
