Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zander Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Baine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baine has chosen The Show Goes On as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matthew Baine has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cage looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Cage would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Cage tries to free his leg and advance position but Baine is retaining full guard.
Baine looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cage is one step ahead there.
Baine avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cage wants to get up but he can't break Baine's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Baine pulls Cage in close to prevent any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cage wants to control from the top but Baine keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Zander Cage.
Nice takedown defense from Cage. No joy for Baine on that attempt.
Cage stuffs the takedown.
Baine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cage's waist but Cage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baine off to one side.
Zander Cage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matthew Baine.

Cage changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baine looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cage grinds an elbow into Baine's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baine gets back to half guard.
Baine wants to get back to full guard.
Baine looks gassed!
Baine keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baine regains full guard. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Baine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cage's guard.

Baine is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cage is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
