Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Nasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz has chosen Meet the Monster as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz moves in looking to clinch but Nasty pushes him off.
Cruz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nasty pinned against the cage. Nasty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nasty shoots in but Cruz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nasty shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cruz sprawls well. Cruz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nasty gets slowly back to his feet.
Nasty shoots in for a takedown but Cruz shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uncle Nasty. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cruz shoots and misses
so Nasty counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Cruz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Nasty passes Cruz's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nasty is working for a submission of some sort.
Nasty looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Nasty is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cruz defends it well.

Cruz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Cruz preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Nasty is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Nasty stands up and beckons Cruz to join him on the feet.
Cruz clinches up against the cage.
Cruz lands a damaging elbow.
Cruz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cruz looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Cruz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nasty gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Cruz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cruz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown but Nasty shows good takedown defense.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nasty fails with a takedown attempt.
Nasty shoots in for a double leg but Cruz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cruz gets tackled into the cage by Nasty. Nasty maintains the clinch.
Cruz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cruz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nasty swivels and escapes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nasty will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nasty misses with a takedown attempt - Cruz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cruz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nasty sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cruz somewhat.
Nasty shoots in and drives through. Cruz sprawls well.
Nasty shoots in looking for a takedown but Cruz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nasty's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nasty gets tackled into the cage by Cruz. Cruz maintains the clinch.
Cruz throws an elbow that misses.
Nasty blocks an elbow strike from Cruz.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Cruz working hard to break the clinch.
Nasty dodges an elbow strike from Cruz.
Cruz is trying to trip Nasty. He has hold of a leg but Nasty is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cruz persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Nasty has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cruz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nasty preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cruz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nasty has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cruz is looking to defend but Nasty has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cruz! Nasty pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cruz taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Uncle Nasty!
